Two Losses in 13 Rounds for Emily Hu

In November Emily Hu traveled to Philadelphia to post an even score in the National Chess Congress under 2000 section.  Particularly impressive was the fact that she lost just one game against tough competition while racking up a win and four draws!

Between Christmas and New Years, Emily took her skills to the Eastern Open in Bethesda, Maryland.  Again she lost just one game! In seven rounds, she won three games and notched half a point three times (including a draw with the tournament winner) to finish 8th out of 42 players in the under 1900 section.
